Out all day again. 5th Bn advanced to attack today and had hard attack. Lost Capt. Ross, Lieuts Code, Gibson, and Slaughter. Mjr. Pymam was wounded and died later. Capt Whitmore M.O. died of wounds. Rowe died of wounds. Capt George, Lts Townsend, Scarge and Plumb ind. Lost about 20 men in Bn. killed and many wounded.
