Diary

On ordinary drill in forenoon. I had Sgts on compass work for an hour. In afternoon we were at ranges again. Home about 4 PM.
We got a new officer for A Coy, Mr. Foot.
Very hot day but most beautiful. Country all green, crops growing nicely.
