Awoke at 1 A.M. by Runner with orders to go to C.C.R.C. to see a demonstration. Got Bus from Pt. Sains. Demonstration the most foolish I have yet seen. Handled by officers & platoon of Guards.
Returned about 3:30.
Went for walk in evening and wrote letter.
