We arrived here about 12:00 and we got out of the train and went for a march through the city. The pipe band was with us. Somebody said we made the best showing of any regiment yet and when we came back we had our dinner the other half of the regiment has just come in. There is a wreck in the line ahead so I do not know when we will be leaving. We have had lots of lunch and lots to eat. We will be in Halifax early Tuesday morning. I hear we're going on the Scotian. Thank Miss Kay for the lunch
