Diary

27th
Left Newcastle for Standeston with 1 wagon & 5 teams of mules with supplies. Carry on saddle greatcoat, side arms, rifle, haversack & water bottle. Passed Ingogo Heights where there is a monument for the 61st . killed in 1881. Camped at Ingogo Station. Sleep under a tree. Night quite cool.
