Dear Mother

Thank you for your letters they have been coming more regular lately. I am still working in the letter Office it is not too bad, altho a little trying in the warm Weather for one that is not aucustomed to working inside; besides myself there's, an Australian Bank clerk. an English electrical engineer, another who is a pattern maker in the north of England, a regular soldier one young boy, who had done nothing so far, but who intends to go the Sea after the war, & an older fellow, who is an M.A. & a professor of dead languages. he was a tutor at McGill college montreal before the war, so you see we are a rather mixed outfit.

My proof of rank did not come thru yet but I am hoping to get it this week.

There has been no NCO's leaving for Holland lately, I heard that they were full up over there now.

We have been having lovely weather here lately, very warm indeed
Give my love to all at Home, I hope it wont be long before I see you all again.

I remain your loving Son

Tom.
