Dear Mother

Thank you for your letter, altho I have writen you quite a lot of Cards lately I dont think that I have sent you a letter for some time.

I supose you are all very busy now, with the seeding, well if you are getting the same weather as we are here you will be all right.

I got the Books that I wrote to you about, all right Tomorrow is an English concert in camp.

Leg corns have been troubling me lately, you remember how they were always a sore point with me.

I havent had a letter from Maggie for some time, I think the Holland fronties has been closed for some times.

I am still working in the letter office, it is pretty hot in side now.
I havent got very much to write about just at present, as you must excuse my letters being somewhat brief.

I am quite surprised to hear that all my male cousins were getting married, I supose young Hugh will be the next one I hear about.

no L.C.C's have been going to Holland lately, but I think theres is a party going on tuesday, I shouldn't be long now before it comes round to my turn. How are old Mrs & Mr Arkinstall going along, you havent mentioned them in your letters for some time.

I am glad to hear that Sams sales was a success

Give my love to all at home

I remain your loving Son

Tom.
