Seaford, Feb. 26th/19

Dear Jen.

Just a few lines today as I have a little time to spare. Of course I am always very busy.
Received your letter of Feb. 7th last night and was very pleased to hear from you, also to receive money order. I have to have it transferred from Witley to Seaford but that will only take a few days. It is sure a very welcome slip of paper. There are lots of things we can get now that were out of the question when we first came over and of course it takes money. Yesterday was pay day and as usual I received one pound.

We moved again last Monday, just to another section of the camp. It wa a very poor move as it is a quite common sight to see some one open their shirt and pick off a few little creatures, in fact some are none too small. The blankets we got Monday were fairly crawling. I found the first one on my self today. I had just been bragging about a week or so ago that I had never been "inhabited" since I came overseas. However we got our clean laundry this forenoon so will try to convict (sic) them later// on in the day.

So the Flue is still hanging around, eh. There is an odd case of it here yet but very few. I am still feeling fine and doing almost nothing.

Haven't heard from Jim for a couple of weeks. Don't know who will be home first. Guess it will be some time before either of us get there.

I seen Jack Dunbar Sunday. He will soon be on his road home. Stuart Holmes is in Witley and Ernest McGuire at Brampshot, perhaps they will be home by the time you receive this.

Guess I will ring off for today. Hopeing you are all well and that we will be home as soon as possible. Don't forget to drop me a line occasonally.

Byde

P.S. Received this card from Jim tonight and as it is a good view will send it along
