My Dear Wife:

The big parade came off yesterday, and there was 15,000 troops there. All the brass bands were massed for the review. There were 12 brass bands, one pipe band, and 2 bugle bands there. Before the review, the Major-General presented 10 medals to some of the Canadian soldiers who had won them in France. It took an hour to pass in review. Last night I sent all the Children an Easter Card. There was a very poor selection, I also sent a dress for Dody & Baby and hair ribbons for Mabel, Iris, Dody & Baby. You can give them what you think is best for them. I tried to get you a blouse, but so far have been unable to get your size. I asked for bust measure of 48, but here they go by neck size. Put in for a pass to London today & will try and get you one for your birthday, you old dear. You see I have not forgotten you. Had no mail from home yet, but I guess I will get a bunch all at once. With love and kisses to self & children.

Your Loving Husband
