Dear Sister,

Just a line to let you know I am well, and am getting along alright here at present. I have not got any mail this week, but I think it will soon come along.

I wrote a letter Home a couple of days ago.

I got the parcel from Ethel about two weeks ago, and wrote thanking her for it. It was made up of Home-made candy and a piece of cake, which was certainly fine. I also got a parcel from Aunt Nellie which consisted of four handkerchiefs gum, candies and a big piece of cake, which was certainly good. I got a letter from Annie D. Ewen about a week ago.

The weather here at present is fine, but a little changeable. Hope this letter finds you in the best of Health and hope you are getting along fine. I am wondering if you have a flood at Dunnville this year, if you have it will be about this time of the year. I suppose the fishing season will start soon now.

Well Ona there is about six of us Dunnville boys with the 19th the rest is with other Battalions and some are in England.

Tommy Barnes is with the 4th Battn. so is John R. Degear. There is quite a few of the Dunnville boys with the 4th Battn.

Since coming to France I have not seen any of the Dunnville boys, except what came over at the same time as I did.

You can read all the news in the papers and I guess you get more than we do, as I very seldom get a paper to read.

Hope you are all well,

As it leaves me alright.

From Arthur
