Since my letter of October 4th further advice has been received from Overseas which states that your son, Claude Senton, has been commissioned with the rank of Pilot Officer with effect from May 23rd, 1944. His Officer's number is J89686.

May I again assure you that any information received at these Headquarters regarding your son will be communicated to you immediately.
