Dear Mother:-

We have been here a fornight now but it seems more since we arrived in England. We are still in segregation but expect to be out tomorrow or the next day. I am still uncertain of my address but and will be until we are out of segregation, but write to me at the address I sent in my last letter. When you get my permanent address which I will send as soon as I know it, I wish you would now and then send me some "Youths Companions" and any Truro papers you can get hold of. We got some Truro news the other day from the Truro fellows who are here and the certainly welcome.

I don't expect to get my pass for some months now but we all get one sooner or later. I think I told where we are going- to Scotland. I expect I will have plenty to write about when I return.

Iam starting the signaller's course here, I think. It begins when we get out of segregation. I am not absolutely sure that Iam going to be among those picked but I am pretty sure of it.

Be sure and send me your address. I don't know for sure what it is altho I think your at Lady Fraser's. I am sending them to Sackville and letting Auntie Vide forward them to you. That is all right isn't it.

I am going to walk to Bramshott some Sunday afternoon when we are out and see the Truro fellows there. Does Dr.Randall know Iam over here I would like to see him if I could.

Is there anybody else in England you know. Aunt Emily is here you say but you don't know where she is. I wonder if it is any place near here.

Did you give Mrs.Mahon that photo and get one of Herman yet.

Well that is all I can think of for now. I will write again when we get out.

Your son
Ludlow.
