Dear Sis:-
Well Iam going to try to write more in this letter than I did in my last letter.
We are still in segregation but we don't mind it much now. We are certainly going to do up the countryside when we get out.
I was talking to Ralph Blackmore quite a while tonight, talking about old times last summer.
I was into Godalming and Guildford, too nearly towns, today. They are quite nice places from what I have seen of them.
We were on a 14 miles march today and Iam sort of tired now.
I have changed my address since I wrote but I think I will get a letter OK. if you have written. I am not sure of my present address so don't write anything important and say, don't always wait for an answer. I will write as often as I can, but a letter means more over here than it does down in Louisiana But I'll try and write as regular as possible.
And I wish if there is an extra one of those photos that you would send one to Dorothy at Xmas. Send it from yourself. I told her She said she would like one and if it is all right I wish you would.
Iam going to have some post- card photos or some small snaps taken here sometime and Ill send you some.
This is my last sheet so I'll have to condense. I don't think we are allowed to write on both side on acct of censorship, so that a piece may be cut out of the letter if necessary.
It seems months since I left Canada but I guess it'll seem longer before I get back. it was all fixed the otherday by classification that I wasn't to go to France until I am 19. Iam classified A4. I can't go to France until Iam A1.
Well I will close now: Don't forget to write nothing important of send anything important until I am more sure of my address.
Lovingly
