Dear Friend
Well I am sure that I ought to be ashamed of my self for not writing sooner I received a box from you about two weeks ago and a letter about a wek a go. I allso got another of your boxes last night and one from home They reached here in first class condition And we certainly do enjoy them. I know you will over look my neglectfullness of not writing sooner. for really we have not much spare time. We are all real well at present. We have had a real nice spring over here. Not so cold and wet as you's have had. It won't be long until you's will be having picnic again Well this will be the first that I have missed in twenty six years. I guess I will have to ring off for this hoping that finds you's all in good health.
I remain
Your friend
