Dear mother

I received your letter today, also one from maggie, I was awfuly pleased to get them, it has been a fearful wet snowy day today, but we had a little shelter & didnt make out to bad. I've got to go on duty tonight so you must escuse my, if my letter is a little short but I thought I would just write a few lines to let you know that I am all right.
