Dear Mother

I hope you are all quite well, I am in the best of Health myself, I am sorry that I havent written for some days, but I have been very busy lately, I havent had any time, but I sent you one of those field cards. I had a very nice pair of heavy socks sent out to me from Canada, the other day, I dont know who sent me them, but they are sure fine & warm. I wish I knew who sent them, it wast maggie's writing, so I think it must have been Evan's. Fancy the Huns raiding the midlands, I havent seen a Paper since, but I hear they did quite a bit of Damage too.

All being well I hope to be able to come Home for a few days in about a month time, quite a few of the Boys have been & are back again.

Give my love my Emmie and all at Home

your loving Son

Tommy
