I am in perfect health
Hope you are all same.

My Dear Mother-

It sure finished up with a rush didn't it.

Cant tell you just how thankful I am to be going home to you- it seems to good to be true and it is hard to believe that it is all over-and the only way we would leave it finished.

Dont know how Montreal took the news-but this country just went mad.

There is no saying when I will go back and will just have to take my turn with the rest.

Dont send any more parcels as I am liable to be jumping all over the place in the next few months.

Everything was pretty wild around the camp last night but what could they expect.

This is only a few lines to tell you all how glad I am to be coming "home"

Dont be surprised if I walk in on you some evening for dinner.

Your loving son Bill.
