My Dear Mrs. Mayse,
I am hoping to see Mr. Mayse in a day or two, on his way back to the Canada. How happy you will be to have him at home again after the long anxious time of separation. I send you many and warm thanks for your letter which gave all the greatest pleasure.
It has been a real spiritual privilege, to know your husband,& to have all felt that it is a friend of no ordinary caliber that we have come in contact with-
I feel grateful for having had him staying with us at Helmingham and one good gift this terrible war has brought has been friendships which one might perhaps not otherwise have had.
Believe me dear Mrs. Mayse
Yours very sincerely
Mary Tollemache
