Dearest Betty:-

Am still waiting for my sailing orders, I wonder how many more letters I shall write here? Just yesterday I remitted 1£ to be placed to you credit of your account at the Fort Rouge Branch of Union Bank, & a day or two before that I sent a Money order for 3£ per registered letter, I hope you receive these O.K. I have just received your letters 4 & 5 forwarded on from France to Bella & from Bella's to me here. I keep putting off writing on the chance of having something more definite to say in regard to sailing but I still hope to make home about 24th May, Oh, one change has been made for the better instead of sending me back on Furlough, I am being sent back for disposal, which means at least that I shall not have to come back, & I think my chances are good for discharge. Was sorry very sorry to hear of the fire at Ruby's they are certainly having a lot of trouble, I wrote her just the other day. This is a beautiful place & I am getting some beautiful walks also taking baths & drinking the waters - it is doing me good I think, though I am so impatient to be away that I cannot appreciate as I ought - the beauties etc of this delightful spot - How am I looking forward to meeting you & the kiddies & I hope that before May is out we shall be together again. God bless you dears, fondest love & kisses
