Dear Mother,

Received your telegram a few minutes ago. Will meet the boat and get Billy to-night. Thanks for taking the trouble to get him away. Why don't you send your wires by the C.P.R. It only costs 25¢ and the [?] costs 50¢. Am sending more ducks to-day, sag's[?] paid so I guess we can call it square on the expenses.

Will get the films off next time, as they are up at the hotel now and I want to get this posted right away. You were asking about the paint. I paid $10.50 for the 5 gals on the wharf here. I don't know what your expenses were but I think if you let him have it at $2.00 or $2.20 the gallon we will be very lucky to get it off our hands, as you know we had to buy 5 gals when about 2 or 2½ would do. And I had to pay 2.50 more than we expected.

Will you send me my flash light. I think I left it there somewhere also Billy's license tag, as if he has one on, I don't know but what it will do here. Am enclosing plans for Tom to find that duck call. Tell him to try and find time to take a row over Saturday or Sunday and get it. They cost a dollar so it is worth it. Well excuse the scribble and brevity as all are lousy after our holiday. My total for ducks this year is to 54 now. Got 13 last Sunday, yesterday, and the Sunday before.

Will write again soon.

Your Loving Son,

George.
