Dear Father

Just a line to let you know I am quite well. Will be here for a day or two yet, and will then go to the base and from there to the battn. Wrote a letter mother to-day, and also a note to Doris. Thanks for the papers and "motor cycle" received to-day, am looking forward to hearing from you all as soon as I get back to the front. My mail will all have gone back to London I suppose, but it will arrive eventually. Well for the present bye bye. Hope this finds you quite well
