East Sandling Aug 26th 1916

Dear Father,

Just a note today to let you know I am still here and believe we are to leave about Monday or Tuesday. Will let you know for sure when I go. I am sending you to-day a parcel containing a pair of riding breeches, a pair of putters, also a couple of brushes, and a bundle of letters. I want you to keep it for me. There are in the letters all the M-C papers. I don't want you to bother lugging the parcel around, and if you ever have to move which I don't suppose is likely, you can have them mailed home to Malvern, or where you are going. I know you have so much stuff lying around and would be quite a nuisance if you had to carry it.

Well I must close for the present. More in a few days.

Your affectionate,
George.

Did you receive the £2 alright. The 10s hasn't arrived but no doubt it will be before long. You can address me my old address in France which I suppose you have.
