Dear Father
Just a note to let you know I am quite well, and to thank you for your two letters which arrived today after following me around for some time.
I wrote a short letter home today to let them know I was alright. I cant tell you just what was happening when I got my last wound no it wasnt a bombing raid. We were just waving a piece of French soil from the eastern to the western side of the western front. We did it too.
I mailed those newspaper clipping to you yesterday. I suppose they will arrive with this.
Well for the present bye bye, more in a day or two. I am, in haste,
Your Loving Son
George
