Mr. Earl Wilson
2262 Retallack St.
Regina, Sask.

Dear Mr. Wilson;

I regret to not your son's name in the casualty list which appeared in the press recently.

It is the earnest prayer of Mrs. Gardiner and me that he anxiety which will be yours through a report that he is missing will end in the good news that he is alive even if a prisoner. We realize from the following the list that a very considerable percentage of those missing escape or turn up as prisoners of war.

We hope with you that this will be your experience.

Yours sincerely,

James G. Gardiner
