Dear Folks:
Well here we are back to the old dugout stuff again after quite awhile away from it and everything is going fine so far. I found quite a bunch of mail when I came back from the school and have had three more parcels in the last two days and believe me its up here in the line where parcels are properly appreciated. I'll enclose all the cards I have which includes two from good old U.S.A. I'll drop Aunt Miss a line and thank her for the socks as soon as I get a chance. They were great socks alright but a little fine for over here.
I saw Jack Clark the night before I left the school. He rode over and gave me a gat (revolver). I had been wanting one for ages because in the Scout Section we don't have to carry rifles if we have gats, and you can see the difference on marches etc. HE had a chance to get another so he gave me his.
Nothing much has happened sine I wrote last. This note is mostly to enclose the cards and thank you for ‘em. Believe me the mince pies went GREAT absolutely the best yet. I hope you don't wait for this before you send more. Love to Everybody Bill
P.S. Nothing new yet as regards leave but I'm not getting grey over it.
