Dear Aunt

just a few lines in answer to your letter. i dont understand why George has not written to you. i will remind him when i see him. i have not seen him for quite a while. i think i told you in my last letter that he was in France. he was looking fine when last i saw him. i see Tommy quite often. you say in your letter that you don't think the war will last much longer well i hope you are right. we have been looking for peace so long now that it hardly seems possible that it could happen. i was surprised to hear that Beatrice and Fred were going to the training College. i knew that [kellie?] intended to go well i wish them every success. i think Mary was sorry she never went through with it, i was sorry to hear that Albert is behaving so badly Father told me that he was not living at home i knew he was inclined to be wayward. but i did not think he would ever leave home, well how are you getting along yourself i suppose you are just as busy as ever. i think that you would have been happier if you had entered the Army work when you were younger dont you think so. well i guess by the time you get this letter they will be getting ready for exhibition. i did think at one time that we would have been home for exhibition now the end seems just as far away as ever. well if you dont go to exhibition labour day take a trip up to Fairbank if you feel like having a change. i think i told you in my last letter that i received the parcel you sent all right. well i will close now with best love from your loving nephew Will
