Dear Mrs Webling,

We have been hear nearly two months now, and are still under canvas; but pretty comfortable. Our last camp was condemned owing to the slurch and mud, and we have moved to a drier piece of land, I have 6 days Christmas leave from the 22nd - 28th and am spending the first few days seeing friends round London. I will run over to Hammersmith while in town. Having to see you all soon

I am yours very sincerely
Eric Hearle
